NYSE short interest edges higher in mid-August (at Reuters)

Short interest on the NYSE rose 0.4 percent in mid-August, the exchange said on Tuesday. As of August 13, short interest rose to about 13.75 billion shares, compared to a revised 13.69 billion shares as of July 30.
