Energy stocks moved flat-to-lower on Tuesday, cooling off after mild gains on a late-day surge in the previous session. The NYSE Arca Oil Index dropped 0.3%. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index traded about flat and the Philadelphia Oil Service Index dropped 0.4%.
